ORGANIC TEMPEH - Vegan, Gluten Free
Natural Tempeh (pronounced tem-pay) is a traditional Indonesian food made by combining cooked soya beans with a culture (Rhizopus Oligosporous). This culture grows through the beans binding them into a firm cake. 

Tempeh is rich in protein, a valuable source of Vitamin B and contains many amino acids for good health. It has a delicious savoury flavour and and can be diced or sliced and used as an alternative protein food in many traditional normally meat based dishes. It is also salt and gluten free.

Oasis Natural Tempeh: 240g or 380g.
Can be fried, baked or steamed successfully.
Cooking suggestion: Chop into cubes coat in flavoured flour and deep fry.

Oasis Oak Smoked Tempeh: 200g.
Oak smoked the 'old fashioned' way providing that deep genuine smoky flavour making this product ideal for use where that little extra flavour is required.

Oasis Natural and Oak Smoked Tempeh are sold frozen and have a 6 month shelf life.

Marinate includes tamari and ginger. Deep fried so just reheat.
